Taneeza is a first-generation American Muslim immigration lawyer who has called Sioux Falls home since 2012. She began her private immigration law practice in 2013 after receiving a Bush Foundation Leadership Fellowship, and in 2017 she co-founded South Dakota Voices for Justice and its sister organization, South Dakota Voices for Peace. Taneeza is also the Executive Director for South Dakota Voices for Peace.

Lori Cannizzaro Miller,
Research Director

Lori, originally from California and raised in a military family, has made Rapid City, SD her home for over 20 years. She worked in healthcare for nearly 25 years. Since retiring in early 2016, Lori has found a new passion in activism and community organizing. She is also the Research Director for South Dakota Voices for Peace.
